How to Trust your Intuition

Posted by Goddess Leonie on January 11th, 2010. Filed under: Sacred Goddess.

Hola gorgeous Goddess!

A sweet goddess asked me this:

How do I learn to trust my intuition?

You know when you’re just not sure if you should trust your intuition – or how to do it?

And what happens when you get those nagging head-fears that go against that intuition?

I hope this helps sweetpea… even just seeing Charlie’s sweet face is healing to me :)

I love seeing Charlie! Hello Charlie! And you, of course!

During my writing time at a café today I realized that I have a really hard time trusting, especially in God/the Creator/the Creative Power… and that He will provide for me. I wish to learn to trust in guidance and in that inner voice that speaks so clearly usually but often I don’t understand or don’t dare to listen.

Thank you, from my heart, for this timely post!

Lots of love to you! ♥

Oh my. Our first daughter was born 21 years ago this month! You are reminding me of the thoughts and fears I had about becoming a mother.. Now that I’m on the other side of raising her, I can say that it does all unfold the way it’s supposed to, but not always the way you expect or want. But it’s an amazing journey and you will be an awesome, spectacular, amazing goddess mama! What a lucky girl she is to get you to guide her.

Lots of love from me to you.

How great to see you and your wonderfully adorable doggie!
And thank you so much for this post. It came at a time when I was hovering around an idea but afraid to listen to my inner voice and just jump in.
I feel inspired and encouraged and I’m going to go jump in right now.
Much love and more thanks! <3

Thank you so much for sharing this, Leonie. I was in the same space not so long ago as I counted down to my Little Bear’s birth, and I know what you mean about needing to let some things go to make space. It’s scary sometimes and sad sometimes, but it all comes right…it all happens for a reason. In a way I feel like that process continued through his first year and a bit and that it’s only now, when he’s 17 months old and a toddler, that I feel myself consciously adding as opposed to simplifying (and you’re a big part of this, so thank you!).

Much love and hugs to you as you work through this.

Goddess Megamus ~ Oh hon. Thank you so much for sharing that… that is SO good to hear. I was wondering if that simplification process would ever really end – if one day I would one day feel like adding to again… so thank you for sharing your story. I see now that it all happens in beautiful balance with each other… some cycles will be cave time… some cycles will be expansion!

big love you… and thank you!

honey, i’m so proud of you!! this time you’re approaching is one that can be full of fear about “all you’ve been working for” up to this point. having a new baby certainly shakes things up a bit. and you will have to find a whole new way of being in the roles that you love that works for you and your family. you will most definitely find your way, my sweet….

Dear Sweetie Pie, lemon or apple today? When I look at our youngest biological son (36 years), I still remember the sweet times in the middle of the night, just the 2 of us, Matt nursing, the house so quiet, and a wonderful cuddle, now he’s 6′ 2″ tall and has a son of his own. Our youngest adopted daughter (16 years) will point to my tummy and say she wishes she could be inside of there, we do laugh gently, because she is 5’10″ and I’m barely 5’2″!!!! I wish that we could turn back the time for short periods, but then I see how happy and wonder-filled life is today! My Mom said every woman should have a 20 minute nap every day, boy was she wise!!!
