How very, very beautiful. Your daughter’s name, beloved Lis, is the English version of the name of the daughter I never had. Marlena was supposed to be Chiara and when I was pregnant with Samuel, I insisted he was a girl and to be Chiara. Well, I am not having any more children that I know of – and when I saw your little one’s name… awww. My first tears of many in reading your story.

So grateful you shared it here.

A truly beautiful story. . . takes me back to when we first met online. You were NEmommy (I think) and I was avasong in the discussion group. And now we are just Lisa and Diana, two friends who were destined to meet in person all the way across the world.
