Wonderful truth in the poem. I think Jesus said it best when he said we must be “last of all and servant of all.” “To sit in the last chair.” When we accept this,anger,pride,and much ugliness is washed away.

Newness of life. Discoveries of joy. “Hello home.” I love that. I remember being on a trip in Italy, seeing new places, eating new foods, making new friends, loving it all, journaling voraciously. I felt like “I was turning for home, a home I’d never been to before.” What a fabulous, life-affirming feeling. And oh the joy of keeping it to oneself, of basking in it, knowing it was meant just for me. For you. For each of us – if we are willing to seek it out and accept it when we find it.
